Deep Creek Getaway

We started a new tradition this year of getting just the older cousins together for a “cousins weekend”. A time we could all be together and have some fun! There was one that couldn’t make it this year and she was super missed, but hopefully it will all work out next year and we can all be together!  You guys, it was such a fun weekend!! I already cant wait for our trip next year. When we were younger our Grandparents had a place in Ocean City and we would all (at that time, all 14 of us and sometimes a few extras!) go down for a couple weeks in the summer. It was so much fun! I’m so thankful for such a close knit family and for my sweet cousins who I have grown up with. We have so many memories together and they are some of my favorites! This weekend away reminded me of that time and I pray this is a tradition we keep going for the long run! Because no matter what happens in life I can always count on these people to be there for me every step of the way and I love them with all my heart.
So, what do you do when you get together for the weekend and one person happens to be a photographer? You tell the rest of them to dress up and you take them outback for a quick portrait session while there is still snow on the ground! =) You also hand your camera over to one of them and have them snap a couple shots of you too!
