Henrik & Madeleine | Akershus Fortress, Oslo, Norway

Oh you guys!! I have been SO excited to share these images with you!! To back track a little bit I first met Henrik in 2017 on my first trip to Norway. I wanted to document my trip to my most favorite place in the world and found him online while searching for local Norway photographers. He is the owner/photographer over at Henrik Beckheim and is an amazing wedding photographer. So when I knew I was coming back to Norway I just knew I had to try to do a portrait session while I was there. So I reached out to Henrik to see if him and Madeleine would be interested and thankfully they made my dream of photographing a session in Norway come true!

We met up at one of my favorite spots, Akershus Fortress, to begin our session. It was pretttttty chilly that day, but these two (especially Madeleine) were troopers! I had such a wonderful time wondering around the Fortress with them. After we popped in to a little café to warm up with some delicious hot chocolate (… I could so go for another bowl of that right now!) and chatted for a bit before we headed to the Christmas Market in the center of town. The lights, the fire pits to keep warm and all the snuggles it was the perfect place to end our time together…. and now I would also really LOVE some Lefse please.. mmm, I guess I’ll just keep dreaming of that delicious treat while I leave you with some of my very favorite images from our time together!
