Well, one thing good that’s come from this “Stay at Home” order.. I’ve been able to work and get caught up on some of my travel photographs from over the years. There’s a TON of them.. I’m a very happy snapper, haha.. so I don’t know if I’ll ever be caught up but its been fun reliving the memories while I’m stuck at home.
Back in September of 2018 I traveled to Iceland with 3 other creative ladies. We rented a house where we stayed for the week and a car that we drove all over the island. Not pictured in this post, but we also were lucky enough to do 3 different photo shoots while we were there as well. To me its so refreshing to jump out of your comfort zone and find a new area to work in and capture magic for a sweet couple. So you know what that means… whenever we’re allowed to travel again and you want a photo shoot somewhere amazing – I’m totally your girl! =)
But it was so much fun that week to hang out with these ladies and explore this new country together. We had been crossing out fingers all week that we would get lucky and see the Northern Lights. I remember one night it was very late and we were driving home from that days adventure and we noticed this odd looking thing in the sky. We kept driving and the girls in the back seat kept an eye on the weird object in the sky. We turned the corner and BAM! This gorgeous green light danced throughout the sky. We were EXTATIC! We immediately pulled over to the side of the road and jumped out of the car with our cameras. I think we were on cloud 9 for the rest of the night. They were one of the most beautiful sights i have ever witnessed. This week was a lot of fun and I’m so glad I am finally able to share this beautiful country with you! I hope you enjoy! =)
